Hope is a painter, writer, musician, performer, teacher, and mentor, and is always open to exploring whatever media may be right for a particular job.
A native New Yorker, Hope moved to the UK in 1987 and has worked on arts projects including an ‘art supermarket’, setting up the Castlefield Gallery in Manchester, and more recently cabaret performances in Glasgow.
In 2018, Hope received a NEPACS Ruth Cranfield Award for good practice in rehabilitation for the Hidden Voices Arts Project – an interactive, arts-based educational resource.
“I believe in the transformative power of the arts to make life better and love working with people of all ages, abilities, interests and backgrounds to release creative potential.”
