Digital Events Series Replay
In the lead up to kNOw One Place we ran a series of digital events and discussions to
examine the various aspects of creative placemaking, a community-led approach that uses creative activity to lead decision-making and regeneration for a place.
Across two weeks five digital events explored the themes of:
- Space: physical + conversational with Dr Emma Coffield, Lecturer in Museum, Gallery and Heritage Studies at Newcastle University
- People + power with Adrian Sinclair, Director at Union
- Society + activism with Jimmy Paul, Director at Wellbeing Economy Alliance Scotland
- Creative practice with Anna Francis, Artist / Researcher at The Portland Inn Project
- Communities with DJ McDowall, Creative Community Development Consultant and Activist at The Imaginarium
