Furthermore, Katharine grown a strong multi-dimensional practice that encompasses creative and social practice, as well as community engagement. She is passionate about empowering communities to take the lead in shaping our environments and believes in the efficacy of collaborative, inclusive approaches that nurture grassroots skills to propel progress.
Malcolm Struthers
Website & Content Coordinator

In charge of all WWDN digital content creation, Malcolm oversees website maintenance, social channels development, and collaborates closely with the artists and place hubs that are part of the initiative. Alongside being a freelance communications specialist and project manager, Malcolm is also a clinical hypnotherapist.
His communication experience includes various organisations across a variety of sectors. This includes arts based projects including Happy Valley Pride and Hebden Bridge Film Festival.
WWDN commenced the pilot project in 2021, collaborating with numerous places and people throughout Dumfries and Galloway. Throughout this time we have engaged a diverse array of artists, emerging and established, along with the dedicated individuals from the various place hubs.
Their invaluable contributions have developed the evolution of this creative placemaking project, and as we embark on the next phase of the network, many of these places and people continue to actively participate. Working together we continue to foster collective decision-making and drive positive transformation.
