People, Place and Community Seminars

Hosted by the IHR’s Centre for the History of People, Place and Community. This seminar series focus on the theme of co-producing histories of place and many of its seminars will be co-hosted in collaboration with other academic, heritage, local history, and community-led organisations.

What We Do Now director Katharine Wheeler will be speaking alongside Hannah Awcock (Edinburgh Napier), and Nadiia Lolina (Cara Fellow of the SAS, IHR). They will examine how creative practice and explicit or implicit co-production engage with established and emerging place-based histories as part of the ongoing process of shaping place-based identities.
